Aaron Tuttle is a colleague and an aquaintence of not only myself but our Chief Meteorologist, Bob Goosmann... so I'm going to be as gentle here as possible...
After reading Aaron's editorial I went to Bob and said, "Hey Goose, what's an undular bore?" He replied, " I shot one during my last excursion in the outback down under - it's head is mounted on my living room wall!"
Aaron, under your "test" you just eliminated EVERYONE in tv weather form using the title "meteorologist"..... Well.... you could still call yourself one. While I'd like to see high standards - one shouldn't have to have a DOCTORATE to earn that title.
"Convective storm dynamics?" A rather vague term that could be defined in hundreds of ways.
